Requirements:
Consultations are not free. Sorry, but wasted too many hours listening to stories of projects that never were, and I’m a real busy girl. If you have a project ready to go, and its funded, please do email me.
I DO NOT work for credit, on deferred payment or cause you’re a really nice person. I’m sure you are. I still have to pay rent.
All projects require:
1. Scope Agreement – outlining the scope of the project and my role on the project (including job definition, on-screen credit agreement, etc.)
2. Contract – outlining my role, my rate, schedule of project, my deliverables, payment schedule, usage of footage on reel or portfolio site, copyright ownership, etc.
3. Deposit – One half of project fee upfront. No haggling on this.
4. Insurance Agreement – If my camera gear is to be used on your production, I have simple contract that needs to be signed to cover any damages to my gear. Standard and necessary.
I love what I do and this page is to keep me from my own enthusiasm. These things should be addressed first before we play and make great stuff. When the above are covered, both parties are protected and know what to expect from the other.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Peace,
Melissa
