From 0 to 90

From 0 to 90 is the working title of an interactive documentary, produced by Melissa Ulto.  With interviews in person and online, Ms. Ulto seeks to cover the first 90 days of Barack Obama’s presidency, both nationally and internationally.

From bail outs to Iraq, Obama has a hard road ahead as president. Will the problems he’s inherited and the new issues he will face mold Obama into the leader we long for or will he change unrecognizably?  Will we rally around him or slice and dice him in the media?  Can we hold on to hope and work towards change?

On inauguration day, Ms. Ulto started with one interview.  Each day, she seeks to get one new interview, whether in person or online, responding to a list of questions and reacting to the state of the presidency as it unfolds.

On YouTube, Facebook, Skype and other social networks, Ms. Ulto will seek out divergent views, invite dissent and discussion.  She seeks to supplement a mainstream media approach with the voices of real people impacted by new policies and old beliefs.
