Reel & Fundraising Updates
I’ve been reaching out to find work and to help fundraise for the different documentary projects I’m invovled in – please check out first contact email below:
I’m a filmmaker, who mostly focuses on editing. I have a strong webisode, narrative and documentary editing background and would be very interested in any freelance or full time positions.
My reel is located here:
http://www.multo.com/vlog/multo-reel/ – i also shot, did effects and titles and all editing on these pieces
My resume is located here:

I am also fundraising for two documentary projects – the first is From 0 to 90, which I shot most of, produced, directed and am now in post with:
I am raising funds for my documentary, From 0 to 90, through a couple of crowdsourcing sites:
Kickstarter:

IndieGoGo:
http://www.facebook.com/l/1f4cb;www.indiegogo.com/From-0-To-90-Obama%27s-First-90-Days
This will be an interesting test of both sites and their ability to push donors to my project. I’d love to be able to pay my editor and pay for my time directing/writing. There’s the composing, the sound mix, the marketing and PR, and the submission fees for film festivals. Posters, postcards, DVDs, hotel rooms and flights, if I’m lucky to be invited to any festivals. Websites and online social networking campaigns – all these things either require time (mine) or money (for other people’s time and materials).
So here’s to funding a very grassroots documentary about the first 90 days of Obama’s presidency! Please help with a donation and please help spread the word – post the links to your pages, email them to friends, tweet and friendfeed what’s going on with the project.
If anyone has any distribution or broadcaster contacts who might be interested in this documentary, please let me know at multo@multo.com!

The other documentary project is The Lifeline, which is a project sending 9 volunteer filmmakers around the globe covering sustainability:
The Lifeline is a global network of people and communities creating positive, sustainable solutions for life on Planet Earth.
On 9th September 2009 the Lifeline will send 3 teams of 3 from London, New York and Sydney on an epic 18,000 mile journey, taking 13 months, to arrive on 10.10.10 in Cape Town, Buenos Aires and Tokyo respectively. Each team comprises of two documentary film-makers and one ‘ordinary’ person. Each group will walk, sail, ride and use public transport – no planes allowed! – to make their journey around the world. Along the way they will document the individuals, businesses and communities implementing sustainability initiatives, regularly uploading their reports to the website and constructing a lifeline for all humankind to share.
On the same day the teams depart (999 day), leading artists, renowned thinkers and environmental pioneers are coming together to sign a Universal Declaration of Planetary Rights in London. The ambition is to shift global consciousness in the greatest call ever made to humanity, to create an economic, environmental and spiritual plan for the sustainable management of the Earth’s resources.
We are an entirely volunteer grassroots effort, with all the filmmakers giving up a year of their life. This is a needed effort, and we hope to inspire the change we want to see in the world by embodying it and finding projects that reflect that. We are seeking solutions and connections, and we can’t wait to share them all with a growing worldwide audience!
