The LifeLine – My Life for the Next Year +

I will be doing the most amazing project of my life very shortly.  Actually, I have already started, pruning my lif and projects down, shedding my possession and unecessary gear, coming closer to inner peace and exhuberant joy.  I have found my mission, so it seems.  I have no doubt.  I had an instant “yes” go off in my heart the second I read about the project.  It is everything I want to do and be and contribute and create as a filmmaker and activist – saving the planet through teaching, connecting, storytelling, image making.  I will be helping form a collection, a digital ark, of information to help us collectively save the planet.  Not for a big brand or a network, but for FREE.  For everyone to utilize and participate in.  I am so honored and scared and thrilled and most of all, certain.  It is necessary, it is a time when we all must find a way to serve and survive.  Beyond that, it is a time of NEW ideas, thinking, possibilities, living up to our potential as people.  IMAGINE WHAT WE CAN DO?

“The Lifeline is a global network of people and communities creating positive, sustainable solutions for life on Planet Earth.

Connecting The Dots…

On the 9th September 2009 leading artists, renowned thinkers and environmental pioneers will come together to sign a Universal Declaration of Planetary Rights in London on 999 Day.

The ambition is to shift global consciousness in the greatest call ever made to Humanity, to create an economic, environmental and spiritual plan for the sustainable management of Earth’s resources.

To carry this message the Lifeline will send 3 teams, each comprising 3 documentary film-makers from London, New York and Sydney on an epic 18,000 mile journey to arrive on 10.10.10.

Each film-maker team will walk, sail, ride and use public transport – no flying – to Buenos Aires, Capetown and Tokyo. Along the way they will document the individuals, businesses and communities implementing sustainability initiatives, uploading their reports to the Lifeline website for all Humankind to share.

By creating the Lifeline it is our hope that we are capable of waking up to the deadline humanity faces and to create an alternative way of living that will protect and sustain Life on Earth for now and for all Time.”
