Manic Panic 30th Anniversary Event

I had the honor of working with Tish and Snooky of Manic Panic on a video piece for their 30th Anniversary event this past weekend at Fontana’s.  The result was a fantastic piece of video that spans their DYI career in cosmetics and Punk Rock!

Egg Cream Toast

The evening started off at the old St. Marks location – for an egg cream toast.  Yummy!

The party was held at Fontana’s – a Chinatown hideaway, old school rock and roll hangout.  Snacks, goodie bags, rockers and dye-hard Manic Panic’ers showed out in good form.

So we tore into our bags and proceeded to make absolute loons of ourselves with funky sunglasses and sexy aprons.

Magic

UV performed some magic, curing the hiccups.  We later congregated at the loft, and dyed my hair a shade darker red, while discussing art, film, the universe, colors, and life in general.   Banging on the shower so it would run, arguing about bleaching UV’s hair, and lots of herbal energy made for a loopy wonderful evening.
